10.2 Backup and restore procedures
10.2.1 Back up a NetVue Server
In System Display, use the Backup Settings page to:
• Run ad-hoc, manual backups as necessary. See Section 8.2.1.2.
• Configure an automatic backup procedure that runs at regular intervals. See Section 8.2.1.3.
10.2.1.1 How to run backup procedures
NetVue completes the backup process on servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2012. The backup
files it creates are standard
NetVue Upgrade packages.
To restore those backup files, use the
NetVue Upgrade tool found in this directory:
C:/Skyline DataMiner/Tools/StandAloneUpgrade.exe
